Board of Directors

Jude Deckenbach

Executive Director

Jude's experience bridges the corporate and non-profit worlds. For the past 30 years, she has been immersed in the non-profit world through her professional and volunteer work. In 2015 she was hired by Friends of Jackson Park to help create a renovation plan for the park, shepherd it through the various City agencies until completion and fundraise to support this project.

Elain Sprague Stuebe

Board President

Elain has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years, specifically in Potrero Hill since 2002. She and her husband, Erik have raised two children who attended Daniel Webster Elementary and the Jackson After School Program, creating many memories in and around Jackson Park. Elain is a visual artist who makes time to advocate for important issues in support of children, families, the arts and the outdoors. She and her family love The City, especially the Potrero Hill community, and remain active in causes that bring people together.

Elain understands what rolling up one's sleeves and working together as a community can accomplish to make a San Francisco neighborhood more livable, equitable, and enjoyable. As part of a dedicated group of young parents, Elain helped with the turnaround efforts at Daniel Webster - a public elementary school slated for closure. Seeing it through a major renovation both on the inside and out, hers and many families continue to enjoy the many benefits that stem from a thriving school in the neighborhood. It is her whole hearted belief that families and neighbors are the framework of our city.

Dana Seabury

Vice President

Dana is the Business Development Director for KTGY, a leading national architecture, branding, interior and planning firm focused on residential, hospitality, mixed-use and neighborhood revitalization projects.  She has a comprehensive industry perspective, including multi-family real estate and general contracting experience.  With a strong focus on strengthening and growing client relationships, Dana is responsible for establishing and implementing successful business development strategies across the Bay Area and greater Northern California market.

She is also the mom of a student at Live Oak School.  As Live Oak is an integral part of the Potrero neighborhood and the school community has a strong connection to Jackson Park, Dana is inspired to contribute to the efforts to complete this park renovation.  A longtime supporter of parks and open space in San Francisco and the Bay Area, she believes in the importance of this project for the Potrero neighborhood and our greater community.

Kayla Hughes

Kayla focuses on understanding what makes a location special. She has worked in parks, plazas, parking lots, and small businesses to help them create programming and design practices that bring people together. Kayla has been a renter in Dogpatch and Potrero Hill since early 2018. Passing Jackson Park every day while walking to work she understands its role as a community space for the neighborhood.

Sacha Xavier Reich

Sacha has called Potrero Hill home since 2016 although she is originally from New York. She is a full time marketing executive at a travel company based in San Francisco. She, her husband and 3 children moved here from Mexico City and fell in love with the views, clear skies and parks. She met many of her friends at Jackson Park and her children all attend a Potrero Hill based elementary school.  You can find her biking uphill on a traditional bike trying to get a little further each day. She recently wrote a children's book called "Hasta Manana Mexico City". In her spare time she is a butler to 3 children under 11 while trying to read and exercise.

She is passionate about analyzing customer needs and translating these into business results. She has worked in various industries, including food and beverage, eCommerce and retail.

Eling has lived in San Francisco since 2011 and currently resides in Pacific Heights with her husband, two young children (4 and 6 years old) and dog. Understanding the significant role that parks play within her family’s life, she is excited to drive the Jackson Park project forward to benefit the community.

Lena Ryan

Lena is an Arizona native and 14-year resident of San Francisco.  In 2016, Lena and her husband Nathan put down roots on Rhode Island Street in Potrero Hill and began enjoying Jackson Park with friends and family, both human and furry.  Lena is Director and Associate General Counsel at Meta (formerly Facebook) and specializes in Employment Law.  Lena loves hiking and fitness, languages, and reading fiction.  Her biggest joy -- and reason for joining the FoJP Board -- is her two-year old son who started visiting the park as an infant.  Lena's family is also active in Potrero Boosters and other Potrero/Dogpatch community organizations.

Kyla Burke-Lazarus

Kyla grew up in Potrero Hill and returned to the Hill in 2021 with her three-year-old son and husband. She now works at UC College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) as the Associate Director for Public Interest and Public Sector Programs.
