Tentative Playground Opening Date: October 14!
Exciting news: SFRPD is aiming to open playgrounds by October 14 as announced. They are in the process of developing protocols which include documenting to the SF health department how we will adhere to the state’s guidelines. Their plan needs to be approved by SF health department to move forward with reopening, and we’ll need to stay in the orange tier, as per the Mayor’s news release.

Update: Social Distancing Circles Will Not Be Repainted
Although the social distance circles we got in April were a big hit with the community, SFRPD has decided not to repaint them.
"We were pleased to be able to provide the circles for Jackson and to see them embraced. We do have limited resources for this endeavor and want to be able to distribute them equitable throughout our system. At this time, we will not be repainting the circles at Jackson, but we really appreciate the community’s enthusiastic support of the project."
